"Tropical" Cocktail Night

Join us for our Tropical Cocktail Night at The Gillmont!

For this one, we're giving our bar team a theme rather than a classic cocktail to work from - tropical - and seeing where they take it.

Across the evening, you'll enjoy five full-sized cocktails, each exploring a different side of tropical drinking. Expect bright citrus, ripe fruit, rum, spice and a few more unexpected flavours along the way, moving from fresh and vibrant to richer, bolder and perhaps even a little bitter.

There'll be some nods to familiar tropical classics, but plenty of room for our team to experiment too. The brief is deliberately broad, giving them the chance to play with different spirits, fruits, flavours and styles to create five completely different drinks.

Our team will guide you through each cocktail, sharing the inspiration behind the serve, some of the ingredients and techniques they've been experimenting with, and how each one came together.

Expect a relaxed, seated tasting experience with five full-sized cocktails, premium spirits and plenty to talk about along the way.

Guests arrive from 7pm, with cocktails served throughout the evening until around 9:30pm.

A selection of bar snacks, including olives, nuts, and crisps, will be available to purchase on the night, and you're very welcome to stay with us afterwards for additional drinks at the bar.
