"Mojito" Cocktail Night

Join us for our Mojito Cocktail Night at The Gillmont!

We're taking one of the freshest and most recognisable cocktails around and exploring what happens when you start playing with its familiar combination of mint, citrus and sweetness.

Across the evening, you'll enjoy five full-sized cocktails, beginning with a classic Mojito before our bar team takes those flavours in some very different directions.

Expect everything from peach and fresh mint to tropical fruit, warming spice and some seriously characterful rums. We'll also be stepping away from rum altogether, borrowing inspiration from other classic cocktails to see what happens when they're given a little Mojito treatment.

Some serves will be light, fresh and instantly familiar; others bigger, bolder and a little more unexpected. Mint and citrus provide the thread throughout, but where we take them is where things get interesting.

Our team will guide you through each cocktail, sharing the inspiration behind the serve, some of the ingredients and techniques they've been experimenting with, and how we've taken the Mojito in five very different directions.

Guests arrive from 7pm, with cocktails served throughout the evening until around 9:30pm.

A selection of bar snacks, including olives, nuts, and crisps, will be available to purchase on the night, and you're very welcome to stay with us afterwards for additional drinks at the bar.
