"Bloody Mary" Cocktail Night

Join us for our Bloody Mary Cocktail Night at The Gillmont!

For this one, we're taking one of the world’s most distinctive cocktails and seeing just how far we can push it.

Across the evening, you'll enjoy five full-sized cocktails, beginning with the Bloody Mary we all know before exploring completely different sides of its familiar flavours.

Tomato takes centre stage, but perhaps not always in the way you'd expect. We'll be playing with everything from fresh and sun-dried tomato to tomato water, alongside smoky, savoury and spicy flavours, fresh herbs and a mix of different spirits and styles.

Expect one drink that feels reassuringly classic, others that are lighter, clearer and altogether less recognisable, and plenty of clever techniques from our bar team along the way.

Our team will guide you through each cocktail, sharing the inspiration behind the serve, some of the ingredients and techniques they've been experimenting with, and how we've taken the flavours of a Bloody Mary in five very different directions.

Guests arrive from 7pm, with cocktails served throughout the evening until around 9:30pm.

A selection of bar snacks, including olives, nuts, and crisps, will be available to purchase on the night, and you're very welcome to stay with us afterwards for additional drinks at the bar.
